This event presents the research of Mario Gerolamo Mossa, a doctoral candidate at the University of Pisa, examining the musical impact of terrorism and September 11th both on Italian and American singer-songwriters such as Francesco De Gregori, Ermal Meta, Bruce Springsteen, Steve Earle, and Alan Jackson.
Mossa will be joined in performance by Georgetown University students Anna Schiff, Boxuan Wu, Jake Simon, and by Georgetown Professor Francesco Ciabattoni and Dr. Giulia Zanini.
