Students Work on Development Projects in Nairobi
In the summer of 2012, four students traveled to Nairobi, Kenya, to work on development projects with Billy Jack, an associate professor of economics and James Habyarimana, an associate professor with the Georgetown Public Policy Institute. For more than two months, the students assisted with surveys, focus groups, and data collection on projects ranging from road safety to maternal health savings to financial literacy.
