Georgetown Students Prevent Summer Learning Loss in DC

This summer 26 Georgetown students participated in a program designed to provide academic enrichment to underserved youth in Washington, D.C. Student educators taught classes in Ward 7 schools and community centers as well as provided one-on-one mentorship. Marcus Clark, executive director of Parkside at Paradise Community Center, says the youth benefit from knowing college students of whom they can ask questions about higher education.
