July 13, 2011 – Short video snippets showing how Georgetown’s men’s basketball team is preparing for its visit to China in August will begin running on the university's athletics website starting next week.

A variety of spots on campus were selected and scripts were drawn up by staff members for the videos.

The players in the class are learning simple phrases in the Chinese language, such as “Where is the basketball court?” Guest appearances in the video include Georgetown's mascot, Jack the Bulldog.

A second video features senior Henry Sims (C’12) was joined by sophomore Moses Ayegba (C’14), along with freshmen Jabril Trawick (C’15) and Otto Porter (C’15).

The final video features freshmen Tyler Adams (C’15), Mikael Hopkins (C’15) and Greg Whittington (C’15), first at the Georgetown Credit Union and then at Uncommon Grounds, a coffee shop on campus.
