Ring the Bells: Business School Closes NYSE

September 29, 2010 – The clanging of cowbells echoed through the McDonough School of Business as students, faculty and special guests participated in a remote closing bell ceremony for the New York Stock Exchange (NYSE) on Sept. 28.

The ceremony took place before a panel discussion on "The Role of Capital Markets in Job Creation" in the Hariri Building.

The panel, sponsored by NYSE Euronext and the Financial Times, included moderator Gillian Tett, U.S. managing editor of the Financial Times; Tom Adams, CEO of Rosetta Stone; Reena Aggarwal, Robert E. McDonough Professor of Business Administration; Lawrence Leibowitz, COO of NYSE Euronext; Kevin Plank, founder, CEO and chairman of Under Armour; and Kevin Warsh, Board of Governors member of the Federal Reserve System.
