Georgetown Welcomes Students For New Academic Year
Georgetown welcomed its new and returning students with a host of activities. New Student Orientation (NSO) began Saturday, August 24, and concluded on the first day of classes, Wednesday, Aug. 28. Highlights included a session celebrating diversity, a literary workshop and a Mass of the Holy Spirit. Welcome Week, which takes place over the first two weeks of the fall semester, includes a barbeque, a "life raft" debate and a midnight carnival.
