There are a lot of ways to navigate the WWW. What you see here is a personal one, namely the collection of links that I (Jim O'Donnell) have found useful. There are four categories here:

• first, more serious scholarly resources that I use myself;
  
  
• second, interesting and important resources having to do with networked communication and its use in academic instruction and publication;
  
  
• third, a few things as much for amusement and incredulity as for serious use -- this began as a place for the link to the Vermont Teddy Bear home page (I have the honor to know several VTB's personally) and has gradually picked up a few other items for which no excuse is offered;
  
  
• finally a miscellany of resources of a more serious nature that seem to me interesting or to exemplify intriguing use of the WWW for academic purposes.
