Interdisciplinary Program
in Cognitive Science
Spring 2000
The following seminars are being offered by the program to all students
who have some interest in the science of mind: cognitive science.

ICOS 321 Proseminar II: This seminar consists of about 10 distinct
modules centered on the research conducted by the faculties of the Main
Campus and of the Medical Research Center. Each module lasts about
three weeks, and you have to choose three of them, not more than one in
each time slot. The normal outcome of such modules is some written
assignment. You select the modules that you prefer within the constraints
of the program. (3 credits)

ICOS 331 Senior Thesis Seminar: This is for senior students minoring
in Cognitive Science.

ICOS 341: A research seminar/tutorial conducted for students doing
research.

ICOS 351 Seminar on Brain, Behavior, and Conscious Experience: A
seminar conducted by Professor Karl Pribram, Distinguished Research Professor
of Cognitive Neuro-Science in IPIX. The seminar meets weekly, on
Fridays from 11:15 to 1:45 pm. Syllabus
