Policy Leaders Gather to Discuss Future of Immigration Reform at Georgetown

WHO:
  • Felicia Escobar, senior policy director for immigration at the White House Domestic Policy Council;
  • Chris Van Hollen, U.S. Congressman from Maryland; and
  • Tom Davis, Former U.S. Congressman from Virginia.
Other notable speakers including:
  • David Aguilar, partner, global security and intelligence strategies and former acting commissioner, U.S. Customs and Border Protection;
  • Juan Osuna, Director, Executive Office of Immigration Review, Department of Justice.
WHAT:

On Thursday September 25th Deloitte and Georgetown University co-host an event that brings together leaders from federal government agencies, Capitol Hill,  private sector organizations, non-profits, think tanks and academia to engage in meaningful conversation surrounding immigration reform.

 

The symposium will feature dialogue on critical issues such as border security, immigrant outreach and the need to meet future labor demands.
