President Kim of the World Bank to Speak at Georgetown University

WHO: World Bank President Jim Yong Kim
WHAT: World Bank Group President Jim Yong Kim will discuss the ambitious goal of ending extreme poverty within a generation in a speech titled, “Within Our Grasp: A World Free of Poverty.” President Kim will touch upon the need for a concerted effort by developing countries, donors and development partners toward supporting equitable and inclusive growth, working effectively in fragile and conflict-affected states and fighting climate change to secure development gains. President Kim will deliver this speech in the run-up to the World Bank/IMF Spring Meetings that will be taking place in Washington, D.C. later this month.
