DHS Eighth Anniversary Panel Discussion

WHO: The Honorable Janet Napolitano, secretary of Homeland Security, will join her predecessors Michael Chertoff and Tom Ridge for a panel discussion. The event will be moderated by Andrea Mitchell, NBC News chief foreign affairs correspondent.
WHAT: Secretary of Homeland Security, Janet Napolitano, will join her predecessors Michael Chertoff and Tom Ridge for a discussion at Georgetown University to commemorate the eighth anniversary of the creation of DHS. The event will be hosted by the Aspen Institute and Georgetown's Walsh School of Foreign Service. Georgetown President John J. DeGioia will introduce the guest speakers and NBC News chief foreign affairs correspondent, Andrea Mitchell, will moderate the discussion.

Media representatives may attend this event upon presentation of one of the following: (1) a U.S. Government-issued identification card (Department of State, White House, Congress, Department of Defense, or Foreign Press Center), (2) a media-issued photo identification card, or (3) a letter from their employer on letterhead verifying their employment as a journalist, accompanied by an official photo identification (driver's license or passport).
