Statement by Julie Green Bataille

At approximately 1:45 a.m. a first year student, Michelle Konkoly, 18, of Eagleville, Pa., accidentally fell from her fifth floor residence hall room window in Village C West. Emergency personnel responded to the scene. She sustained injuries but was conscious and was transported to George Washington University Hospital. University officials are in touch with the student's family and friends to provide support at this difficult time and are investigating the incident in cooperation with local law enforcement authorities.
