Lecture Marks 40th Anniversary of Georgetown's Lauinger Library

WHAT:

Georgetown University will celebrate the 40th Anniversary of Lauinger Library and the launch of R. Emmett Curran's three-volume A History of Georgetown University (Georgetown University Press, 2010) with an anniversary lecture “Beacons of Learning: Georgetown University and Lauinger Library,” featuring R. Emmett Curran, John Glavin, and James O'Donnell. A book signing will follow.

In addition, a companion exhibition of images from the University Archives that are used in A History of Georgetown University will be available in Gunlocke Room through Feb. 2011.
