Join Diane Von Furstenberg for a discussion titled, "Common Threads: Business, Philanthropy and Women's Empowerment." Diane will be joined in a discussion by Carol Lancaster, dean of the School of Foreign Service, Cathy Tinsley, associate professor and executive director of the Georgetown University Women's Leadership Initiative and Rosemary Kilkenny, Georgetown University’s vice president for institutional diversity and equity. Diane Von Furstenberg is a fashion icon who has leveraged her keen business sense to pioneer new global philanthropy. A “firm believer in the power of women,” Diane serves on the board of Vital Voices, an organization that empowers emerging women leaders and social entrepreneurs around the world. The Diller-von Furstenberg Foundation gives out scholarships to women through The DVF Awards, a program with global reach recognizing outstanding female leaders. |
