Offices and Resources

Georgetown offers a comprehensive range of campus student services. Following the Jesuit tradition of cura personalis ("care of the person"), we address the academic and spiritual needs of our students and promote their mental and physical well-being.

Office of Campus Ministry

The Office of Campus Ministry offers Catholic, Protestant, Jewish, Muslim and Orthodox Christian services on campus. It also sponsors several retreats in these traditions and a nonreligious overnight retreat for first-year and transfer students called ESCAPE. Learn more

Career Education Center

The Career Education Center provides advice and resources to help undergraduate and graduate students as well as alumni who graduated less than three years ago identify suitable career opportunities, jobs and internships. Students and alumni also have access to Georgetown’s expansive alumni network through the Alumni Career Services website and many networking events. Learn more

Office of Compliance and Ethics

The Office of Compliance and Ethics helps to support and coordinate the many compliance-related activities the University undertakes. With the endorsement and assistance of the University's senior leadership, it is responsible for leading the development, implementation and operation of the Georgetown Institutional Compliance and Ethics Program. Counseling and Psychiatric Service

The Counseling and Psychiatric Service is the primary mental health provider for the campus community. Trained professionals help students deal with mental health issues, including depression, anxiety and other issues common among college students. The center offers a broad range of confidential services, including evaluations, consultations, psychotherapy and referrals. It is open five days a week, with a 24-hour emergency hotline. Learn more

Department of Public Safety

The Department of Public Safety provides security on the Georgetown campus and off campus properties, twenty-four hours a day, seven days a week. Officers partner with students, faculty, staff and members of the local community to provide a safe and secure educational environment. Learn more

Housing and Residence Life

The Office of Housing Services and Office of Residence Life serve more than 4,000 undergraduate students living on campus. These offices manage the housing selection process and foster a vibrant and welcoming residential community for Georgetown’s diverse student body. Learn more


Student Health Center

The Student Health Center provides high-quality primary health care for the student community. It is staffed by physicians and nurse practitioners with specific training and experience in the health of college students. Services include physical examinations, treatment of common health problems, sports medicine, immunizations and prescription refills. Students requiring emergency care are transported to and treated at Georgetown University Hospital. Learn more
