Georgetown’s nine schools offer a wide variety of intellectually rigorous programs designed to prepare students for many disparate careers and guide them toward their intellectual and professional goals. Our schools offer undergraduate and graduate degrees, as well as law and medical degrees, medical residencies, post-doctoral positions and a growing number of specialized certificates and continuing education programs.

Georgetown College

Georgetown College, the oldest Catholic and Jesuit college in the United States, offers undergraduate programs in arts, the sciences, humanities, languages and the social sciences, with an emphasis on intellectual vitality, a global viewpoint and community service. Learn more

Founded in 1919, the School of Foreign Service – the oldest school of international affairs in the U.S. – offers undergraduate and graduate programs in international affairs, regional and comparative studies and security studies. Learn more

Graduate School of Arts and Sciences

The graduate school offers Master’s and Ph.D. programs with research opportunities in many fields, including liberal arts, interdisciplinary programs, public policy, business, biomedical and basic science fields, to name a few. Learn more

Biomedical Graduate Education is an extension of the Graduate School overseeing more than 26 programs in biomedical sciences offering certificates, Master's, and Ph.D. degrees in the Medical Center. Learn More

Law Center

Georgetown’s law school is known for its top-ranked programs in constitutional, international, tax and clinical law with a strong tradition of public service. The Law Center’s location puts it within walking distance of Congress, the Supreme Court and the U.S. Department of Justice. Learn more

Georgetown University’s School of Continuing Studies offers graduate programs in professional and liberal studies, more than 30 professional certificate programs, custom and corporate training and education, summer school and special programs, and the University’s only part-time bachelor’s program.
