The Georgetown University School of Continuing Studies (SCS) fulfills the University’s tradition of academic excellence by offering applied educational programs that prepare students to become leaders in their fields and serve in greater society. Located in downtown Washington, D.C. in the vibrant Chinatown neighborhood, SCS provides students with an enriching academic experience through full-time, evening, and executive programs.

The Master of Professional Studies degree is offered in 12 majors: Emergency & Disaster Management, Global Strategic Communications, Hospitality Management, Human Resources Management, Integrated Marketing Communications, Journalism, Public Relations & Corporate Communications, Real Estate, Sports Industry Management, Systems Engineering Management, Technology Management, and Urban & Regional Planning.

SCS also offers the Bachelor of Arts in Liberal Studies program—the University’s only part-time bachelor’s program—as well as the Master of Arts in Liberal Studies and Doctor of Liberal Studies programs. Additionally, the School’s Center for Continuing and Professional Education offers more than 30 non-credit professional certificate programs as well as corporate and custom training and education programs for teams, departments, and organizations.

With part-time and full-time enrollment options and class schedules designed for working professionals, SCS empowers its students with the tools, knowledge, and support necessary to achieve their personal and professional goals.
